Need Stitches? We may be able to get you in and out quicker than the ER or Urgent Care. Dr. Erlacher has 30 years' experience in wound care, including 20 in the ER. We also do biopsies, remove lesions, skin tags, lipomas, and evaluate for skin cancer.

We can do knee and shoulder cortisone and Lidocaine injections for painful joints, acute swelling, or arthritis. Some types of tendonitis and muscular injuries can be treated with cortisone, Lidocaine, or trigger point injections. These can be in conjunction with Physical Therapy and Orthopedic Surgery.

Erlacher Medical is a Direct Primary Care practice in Rocky Mount, NC offering general medical care for all ages. Direct Primary Care allows fast easy access to a Board-Certified Family Physician for a low monthly subscription.
Any necessary prescriptions, labs, and X-rays are still covered according to your insurance policy, but Direct Primary Care is not covered by insurance. We treat chronic diseases, acute illnesses, injuries, and perform minor procedures. We take a natural approach to medicine, including a belief that nutrition and physical activity is just as important as medical testing and prescription medicine. Our vision of success if when patients feel better, more energy, better sleep, more physical strength, and even eliminate some prescriptions when possible.
Erlacher Medical also offers cosmetic medicine treatments, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and an open-minded, integrative approach to improving your health and quality of life. We have an expert cosmetic injector (MD) and licensed esthetician in house.

You can get appointments easily, because we limit our practice panel to what we can manage, not what a corporate office demands.
You can get tested for things like hormone problems, fatigue, early disease detection and prevention, and treatment based on natural therapies, nutrition, and activity, to get you off of medications and increase your “healthspan”, and not just prescribe medications.
